GARDEN EXPO
Once again, when it seems like winter will not end, we get an oasis of Spring at the Madison Garden Expo,
February 12, 13 and 14! Come and visit our booth (#529/530). Denny will be giving a talk on Glass Garden Art (Saturday, Feb. 13, Noon) and we will be teaching mosaic windchimes, address stone, garden stake, and picture frame classes all day on Saturday. This is one of our favorite "out-of-studio" activities each year and we look forward to seeing you there. If you'd like to buy some tickets, we have them available for sale at the studio.

MICHAEL DUPILLE AT THE VINERY
Have you been wanting to cast some glass in the kiln? Here is your chance to learn from a great teacher! Reserve March 12, 13 & 14th to learn glass casting with Michael Dupille. This workshop will cover the basics of glass casting, using several methods and materials. Learn more about the use of frits, cut pieces, inclusions and casting billets. We’ll use fiber paper, Castalot composition molds and instruction on model preparation. These techniques can help create exciting new directions for your current work or future projects.

JIM SMIRCICH IS COMING!
Jim Smircich will be teaching his techniques for two full days. He will focus on the recognition of and the proper use of the "colors" of heat that are the key to bead control. This is a class that will move the flameworker forward in their quest for the better bead.
