Ready to play with fire and molten glass? In this all-day class, you'll learn how to use a torch to melt glass and make fun marbles. This is a beginner class, no experience required, although you might get more out of the class if you have taken one of our other flameworking classes already. You will learn the basics of making a round marble using graphite marble molds and Maggs will demonstrate a variety of simple decorating techniques, including catseye and hobnail marbles. You will have plenty of torch time to practice making your marbles, and the afternoon will be spent using all of the techniques you have learned to make a vortex marble. Please wear cotton or natural fiber clothing, long pants and closed-toe shoes. You will be spending most of the day standing up, so please come prepared. Class includes all materials and use of our tools.
