Beginner's Mosaic Class
Learn the basics of applied mosaics. Students have the option to mosaic a flowerpot or a mirrored wall hanging. You will learn to use mosaic nippers to cut glass to create your piece, and design ideas will be discussed. Take this class, and you’ll soon be ready to mosaic everything in your house and garden! A demonstration of grouting will be shown, as well as grout provided for you to complete your project at home, after your glass pieces have dried.available

Beginning Mosaics: Bowling Ball
We teach you how to transform an old bowling ball into a beautiful art object that will rival any gazing ball you may come across! Walk into class and a pile of brightly colored glass and mirror will be there to greet you, ready for you to learn to chop it up and make an awesome conversation piece. No one will guess there's a bowling ball inside your finished treasure! Beginners are welcome. All materials (including the bowling ball) and tools are provided. Some students will have to do "homework" to complete their ball.

Beginning Mosaics: Mosaic Birdbath
A bird bath is a welcome addition to any garden, and in this class you will make a bird bath that fits your unique style. In addition to having a wonderful new piece of art for your garden you will learn mosaic skills that will last a lifetime.The first night you will create a fused glass element to use in your mosaic.It will be ready for the second part of the class which will involve the actual mosaicing of your project. Students will learn to cut glass using a mosaic nipper, use of the best adhesives and how to grout your finished project. Tuition includes glass,adhesive and grout. Students will have to bring their own item to mosaic. Small bird bath, clay saucer or glass dish would be appropiate for this class.

Beginning Patio Stone Class
This three-hour class teaches the skills necessary to complete an eight-inch round patio stone. Topics of instruction include pattern preparation, glass cutting, mold preparation, pouring cement and cleanup of the finished stone. A selection of patterns, all materials, and tools will be provided for each student. A quick-drying cement is used, so projects may be taken home at the end of the class or picked up the next day.

Mosaic 3D
3 Dimensional Project Using Ceramics and Glass Make a piece of artwork to hang on the wall which combines ceramics and glass to make a 3 dimensional design. You’ll learn how to prepare the surface you’re working with, the best adhesives to use, how to cut or break ceramics and how to combine materials of different thickness in the same project. All materials included in the class fee.

Mosaic Address Stone /Stepping Stone
Transform an ordinary paver’s stone into a mosaic masterpiece! Learn the basics of mosaics while creating a beautiful accent piece for your home. Students have the option of using precut glass numbers to make an address stone or making any design they would like. A grouting demo will be given since the grouting cannot be done for 24 hours until the mortar has dried. This glass-to-stone applied mosaic holds up extremely well and is great for the outdoors. All materials and tools provided.

Mosaic Mailbox Class
These are functionally fun and you'll be the envy of the block with your new outdoor decoration! Whether you are new to glass or have made mosaics before, you'll love your colorful, original mailbox. We will teach you the basics along with some great tips and techniques for creating your masterpiece. This is a big project, so you may have some homework, but we will show you all of the steps to finish your project. This is a 2 day class. Materials and tools provided.
