This class is designed for the beadmaker who wants to add that extra sparkle or glimmer to their beads. Many beadmakers hesitate to work in the fun but expensive materials such as dichroic glass because they are difficult to work with. This class will de-mystify these hard to handle materials with tips and tricks that will give your beads the glitter you are looking for. In class, we will work with dichroic glass, metals for layering and inclusions – copper, silver, gold; metals for fuming – silver and gold; enamels, frits and powders; fine silver wire for granulation; copper sheet, wire and mesh and more. We will also cover clean casing and other decorative techniques to add that extra to your work.
