Do you have some of Grandma’s old china you’d like to preserve but it has a crack or chip in it? Have you always wanted to make a serving tray? We have just the class for you. Make a mosaic tray incorporating stained glass as well as ceramics or other thicker materials. We will discuss design composition and the best adhesives to use for the materials you have chosen. Learn about preparing the tray for your design, working with ceramics and other materials as well as adding finishing touches. A demonstration of grouting will be shown, and grout will be provided for you to complete your project at home after the adhesive has dried. Class fee includes tray(12” by 20”), stained glass, adhesive and grout. You may want to bring in your own china/ceramics or other materials to use in your project as we will have only a limited selection available.
