Beginning Fusing: Fused Pendant
This hands-on class is designed for fun! You will make several pendants or magnets while learning the basics of fused glass. This is a great class for the beginner, and students get the chance to use frit, stringers, iridized and dichroic glass. All materials included, and fired projects will be available the week after class.

Beginning Fusing: Tile/Coaster
Create two 4” square tiles and a fused glass pendant in this three hour class. Your tiles could be used in a backsplash, as coasters, or simply wall art! Learn the basics of fusing including information on glass compatibility, fusing cycles, kiln operation and practical application of your creations. Fired projects available one week after class.

Fused and Copper Windchimes
These wind chimes will add a beautiful sight and sound to any home or garden. This class will teach you the basics of fusing as well as some simple soldering techniques. During the first week of class we will focus on making our fused chimes. The second week we will be assembling our wind chime. All materials are included- fusible glass, copper wire and copper tube.

Fused Frit & Stringer Snowflakes
Come to our studio to get your holiday gift-giving underway! You will make two fused glass snowflakes while learning the basics of fused glass and glass cutting. This is a great class for the beginner, and students get the chance to use frit, stringers, iridized and dichroic glass to decorate their flakes. There will be a demonstration of hole-drilling, and we will drill a hole in your snowflakes for hanging before you pick them up. All materials included, and fired projects will be available the week after class.

Fused Glass Lampshade
So you want to make a lampshade but don't do stained glass. Well, why not fuse it! We will teach you how to make a flat panel lampshade by fusing your 4 panels and do some soldering to hold everything together. Students will need to supply their own glass and will get to create their own designs for the panels. Please make sure to get glass at least 2 weeks ahead of class so that we can order it if needed. Youwill probably want 4 square feet of the same color- coe 96. You will be provided a template for your shade.

Fused Night Light NEW!!
Come and explore the fun of fusing glass! Decorate two pre-cut panels with frit, stingers & noodles. We will fire them for you. You will take home one night light bracket and two interchangeable panels. This is a beginning level class, no previous experience necessary. We will talk all about the basics of fusing glass and you will go home with a handout for future reference. This is an easy fun project for your pleasure and maybe as a gift!

Fused Stained Glass combo
No skills needed for this class. Bring a friend or neighbor and come join us for this fun and exciting class. See if stained glass is something you would be interested in before making the investment in supplies and tools. We will show you step-by-step instructions on how to cut glass, pattern preparation, foiling, soldering in order for you to complete your first stained glass panel, which you will take home with you. We offer lots of individual instruction, use of shop tools. Children 12 years of age or older welcome. Class fee includes all materials needed for this class.

Fused Strip Bowls- Intermediate
If you’ve already had a few fusing classes at the Vinery, we’re sure you’ve dreamed of making a strip bowl and here’s your chance! Christy will take you through the steps involved in making these beauties, and you will have the luxury of using our tools and leaving the kiln firings to us.You will be provided with firing schedules in class. Prerequisites: must have intermediate fusing experience and glass cutting knowledge. Students are asked to bring or purchase 4 sq .ft. of System 96 glass to class with them, in their choice of colors (at least one sheet of clear). Students will also be responsible for furnishing their own mold by the second week of class or renting one of the Vinery molds for an additional $5 (molds should accomdate a 10" square). If you need assistance in choosing colors, please see Christy. Students will also need to stop in by appointment to spend about an hour to work on their plate outside of the scheduled class time.

Fusing Club -Weds. Night
Let's get together and fuse! We will demonstrate a new topic each week, and you will have free time to work on anything you want, ask questions, and get inspired! We will be taking suggestions for topics, and schedule the demo topics accordingly. So, speak up; let us know what you would like.
This is a great opportunity for you to get together with fun, creative people and work on something you enjoy! The Vinery will supply tools and use of the saws and grinders, and A 10" X 10" space in our kilns, which we will fire at the end of the night. You must have some fusing experience(any beginning class will do).

Stringer Plate
Create a unique, decorative plate or vase while learning a great design technique in this new class. Using only spaghetti-like glass stringers, students will put their favorite color combinations into a work of glass art! All glass and use of our molds is included. Projects may be picked up within the week. All skill levels welcome.

Dichroic Float Glass Jewelry
Being offered for the first time in awhile!! Using thin dichroic float glass allows us to create some very interesting fused pendants. The ideas in this class come from Jan Schraeder of Renaissance Glass. All materials are included in class fee.

Fused Glass-Dichro Extravaganza
Dichro Extravaganza - NEW Join us for this all day class and explore the wonderful world of dichroic glass. Dichroic glass is a unique glass that works great for creating gorgeous, unique, one of a kind jewelry. If you are ready to take your jewelry making skills to the next level, this is a great class for you. We will be making several pendants, earrings and a bracelet using several fusing techniques and lots of different forms of dichroic glass. Each student will also receive a ¼ sheet of dichroic glass as part of the class fee. All materials include.
